Scenery techniques for modelling the Fraser and Thompson river canyons By Scott Lamoureux
The clinician will share his techniques for capturing the scenic elements of the Thompson and Fraser canyons with emphasis on rock work, ground cover, trees and rivers. He will demonstrate approaches to develop realistic rock structures based on geologic and landform principles and share approaches for obtaining realistic textures and composition. Most of his approaches use common, inexpensive materials and simple methods to enhance layout realism. These approaches are well suited to scenery work in all scales and a wide range of prototype scenes.
